A nationally-recognized leader in the retail real estate industry and founder of Storm Partners, Joyce Storm began her career with The Taubman Company, where she was responsible for acquisitions, leasing, development, and marketing and operations. Through 14 years with the Michigan-based company, Joyce Storm assisted in all the aforementioned facets on projects such as Fair Oaks Mall, Beverly Center, Cherry Creek Mall, and Belmond Charleston Place.
Ms. Storm later served as president of The Kaplan Group, where she managed its 23-million-square-feet New England Development Shopping Center portfolio. The group maintained 20 super regional malls, 14 of which were sold under her watch for a combined $1.75 billion to Simon Property Group. After The Kaplan Group, she spent time as executive vice president of Sony Retail Entertainment and Loews Cineplex Entertainment and, since 1997, has managed retail transformation projects through her own company, Storm Partners. Supplementing a 30-year career in which she has completed more than 35 million square feet of prime retail real estate, she holds membership with ULI's Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and Barclay's Conference Real Estate.
